Nashfield's debut album climbs up to Number 1 spot in the sales charts

The title given to 's debut album, "One", was actually intended to show that this was the first album put out by the Country band. Now the title has a double meaning because "One" has climbed up to top spot in the download charts in the country genre.

The album only became available after a week's delay in the download shops on all Amazon pages, and on its day of release, 4 October 2013, "" reached the top 20. The album continued to climb the charts as they were updated almost hourly. First it displaced Taylor Swift's "Red" from number 2 before overtaking the Man in Black, Johnny Cash, with his "100 Greatest Hits - the Very Best of Johnny Cash" album which had been nestling at the top for weeks.

This is the first time in the history of the download charts that a debut album issued by a German Country band has gone straight to the top of the Country download charts on the day of publication.

Two singles have been issued from the debut "One" album: in 2012, "Kick It like Country" was released as a pre-single, and once the album was released the title song was also released as a single. The song is currently on its way into radio station playlists across Europe.
